Welcome.He certainly does not look like an ugly duckling to me. You should tell your boyfriend when you get a pet it’s for life no mater the hard things. He still has puppy hair right now so it will change some. I have 4 bigger Yorkies. My oldest who is 11 is 16 pounds, my two that are 2 years old are 12 pounds and my youngest 11 months is 10 pounds. Yorkies are very smart but very stubborn which can make them hard to potty train but we must keep in mind when they mess up it’s generally our fault.
