Jasmine (our Yorkie) is very hostile toward strangers and other dogs. Is this typical? By the way, I'm actually glad that she is this way with strangers as I know there are some lowlifes out there that would steal her, if they could.
When we bought her we were told that she was a "Yorkshire Terrier". It seems that she is some derivative called a "Silky Terrier". We don't really care, one way or the other, but her coat does seem nice.
How trainable are they in terms of them being off-leash and recalling when commanded to do so? I get the impression that it's "not very". Ha ha.
Anyway, Sammy (a rescue) and Jasmine say Happy Thanksgiving. Our other GSD, Fiona, was too grouchy to be in the picture. She's 11 and "tolerance" and "inclusion" really isn't her thing.
