LOL, oh how I remember the dragging lol, is she use to having a harness on, if not, put it on her for an hour or 2 in the house with the leash attached so she gets use to the feel of it. They have to learn how to walk with a harness on them.
When I had my pack of 3 a neighbor had a baby Dobermen that was belly down all fours spread out on the street and wouldn't move lol,I was taking my pack out for their morning walk, I told the man he'll get up when he sees my indians and he'll follow them, sure enough, he gathered those long legs of his together and followed us. I met up with him every morning for walks and his puppy learned how to walk on the leash. When the Dobby was fully grown he stayed in a gated driveway, he became my girls best friend and the first to be greeted in the morning.
Your little gal has to learn how to walk on the leash and this will take a bit of time.
