Ideally I'd like to buy something she'll grow into and will fit well throughout the winter, but I need to order something soon because it generally takes a really long time for items to be shipped to me here.
SO I was wondering if you guys would be willing to share your dog's measurements so I can get an idea of what to buy? She's a standard, not a teacup or anything like that. According to growth charts online, she's on track to be a 7lb yorkie. So if you have an average 7lb yorkie, would you please let me know their measurements? When looking at clothing (especially coats,) what length usually works best for you? This would be a huge help!!! Please and thank you!!

Your best bet is to wait and see how big she will be and measure her then. Weight only measures density and volume but two yorkies can weigh the same amount and be two completely different sizes. Some are long, some are very compact but solid and dense, etc. People always try to describe their yorkies by weight but there are some larger yorkies that have very light frames and some small yorkies that weigh a ton. Dogs can be fat. My little male has recently really had an increase in his appetite and is finally eating all of his food, he weighs more but he is till technically the same size.
