So sorry your boy is feeling bad, but good that you got him to a vet and a treatable dx.
The vomiting could be bile due to empty stomach and or the meds, but the solid pieces are strange. Did he have a fecal test for parasites? Also Cerenia is good for nausea and can be given as an injection or orally.
Hope he feels better soon poor baby.
