I never let Gidget out of the stroller at the nursing home. She's at a good level for the residents to reach over and pet her. She hates to be held! One of the staff members tried to hold her but that didn't last but a second or two. No one seems to mind that she's in the stroller and not out and about. I say "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it". She's perfectly satisfied being in the stroller. Think she feels safe.
