Thank you both for your kind interest. I feel pretty helpless as the owners don’t seem to be interested in giving details. Yes she had US and X-rays they said, and I can only assume the blood and urine tests were done. I thought perhaps the bladder stone removal would help, but it did not. As for appetite, she was eating but I think she is not so hungry these days. As far as I know, no vomiting or bloating. I did not see the dog recently, but at first she was very lively and seemed normal. I think she lost a bit of weight. I agree it can’t be total obstruction or there would have been a crisis or death by now. Although the dog may not have seen the best vets, I feel this must be a difficult dx to make. This little mite is so brave to put up with this for so long, and I can’t believe she has survived so long. Just praying some vet figures this out and that the owners take her plight more seriously. I hope they don’t give up and put her to sleep. Thanks all for your interest.
