In addition to the great ideas you're getting for socialization, I was encouraged to expose mine to a lot of different surfaces -- grass, gravel, wet pavement, even puddles.

Dog parks can be scary places, but maybe arrange a meetup with a known dog or dogs. Yorkies don't need much space, so you could meet in someone's yard.

That's a shame the breeder kept them so long and didn't work on that -- proper socialization is about 90 percent of the reason I feel OK paying top dollar for a Yorkie.
