I feed raw (Sojo's pre-mix w/ my choice of raw meat) bc I think it's better for my kiddos to have fresher food.

I have not heard bad things about Fresh Pet at all - and would most definitely feed it to my kiddos over kibble. It's much, much less processed - that's a good thing.

Btw, unless they've further specialized in it - generalist vets often know very little about nutrition, relatively speaking. I think they can be helpful choosing prescription diets - but I've never found them well-rounded in their dog food knowledge except for Rx diets.
