yeah its strange how over the years they have made yorkies smaller. my first yorkie i had when i was only about 8 and was the size of a westie . then the next one was at his heavyist about 8pound then next was only little but round her heavyist was 9pound should of been 5pound,then there 2 pups who i still have are 8 and 10pound but should be about 6pound as you can tell ive got chubby dogs
my girl i have now is a standard and is about 9pound but is under weight as shes a rescue dog.
