I have read a lot on google about strongyloide worms and some places say that they are species specific and human threadworms are different than those that a dog contracts...some say they are contagious and some say they are not. I am just wondering how crazy to be? Do I was my hands every time Maggie licks me? Do I let her lay on my lap? She has licked my daughters face inadvertently several times today! Should we all go to the doctor to get a worm treatment? Goodness this is stressful! I just want definite answer as to if they are the same kind as humans can get and if they are contagious. I appreciate all of your replies! This is so confusing! |
