Thank you so much for your response!!! I have her on Vetriscience probiotics...have noticed a huge difference in her regularity since starting a couple of weeks ago. When she was seen by the emergency vet, the first week of June, they gave her Proviable probiotics and I noticed such a huge difference in constipation so when she was done with her prescription probiotics I ordered the Vetriscience. I think that all the wormings that she has had plus the combo of being on probiotics for a month now has maybe helped her to not be so infected with the worms or at least kept them under control(if that is possible?). She has had three fecal tests in the last 6 months and none of them diagnosed these worms except the last test? ...the new vet said what she saw was not a horrible infestation and that sometimes threadworms are very hard to diagnose if there is not a huge population in the feces. I know that I probably will never know how she got them, but I am determined to get them gone with no re-infection. The vet also said that they were not contagious to humans, but good for says otherwise...does anyone know for sure that humans cannot contract these worms? I have a 10 year old who I know does not have the same standard of hygiene that my husband and I do! Lol!
