2018 UPDATE: I ended up cancelling the 2017 appointment and we picked several ticks off Fabian that summer. He is nearly 10 pounds now and the ticks are even worse this year. After additional research and consultation with multiple vets, we went with both the Seresto collar and Lyme vaccine shot, on top of the Revolution. He did fine with the shot and we've had no problems with ticks so far. I strongly believe that although this was the right decision for him, I might have reached a different conclusion if he stayed small.
