Do they use drier boxes at your groomer's...? I bet it was from that. I am not a fan of those boxes *at all* bc I think they're very traumatic for a dog, but also bc I've heard of many dogs having the exact same eye reaction after being stuck in them too long.
I don't take mine to a groomer, but if I did - I wouldn't allow box-drying.
Yes - totally correct that you should never, ever give steroid in the eye until it's confirmed the eye issue is not due to a corneal scratch.
