I like the idea of getting her used to a routine of light rubbing AND the taste of the toothpaste.

P.S. I intend to inquire of the vet right away, but I came to believe part of Katy's dental success was because her vet dictated early on what she ate based on the structure and size of her bite. Genetics would certainly be the determining factor of the bite size and structure.
