Default Yorkie Puppy Dental Care - 12 to 16 weeks

My late senior had great teeth--she totally spoiled us. Katy was vet checked regularly but didn't require continuing "dentals" (she had one, rather early). We didn't brush her teeth; she generally turned her nose up at any kind kind of dental chew.

I assume the new little one will be too young for brushing. BUT, she wouldn't be too young to get her used to having a q-tip rubbed on her teeth each night. Am I mis-judging the whole process of getting a little one used to having her teeth brushed nightly?

While she may be too young for brushing, should I get her used to the taste of doggy toothpaste?

Have invested in some chews (below). What else would you recommend for these young pups?

C.E.T. Veggie Dent (Extra Small)
C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chew for Dogs (Petite)
