You wrote, "Need to keep watch..." Yes!!! Late one night years ago, I "lost" a huge snake inside. Stood on top of my desk, little one in arms, waiting for police. I was the only person in the house that night. Managed to throw enough things at the front door to unlock it. Police found that monster--they determined it wasn't poisonous but kept track of it until a catcher arrived. (I did not get down from the desk until after it had been "bagged.")
