I was recommended by people wellness simple for sasha, and taste of the wild for maggie. I looked at statistics of recalls and decided to avoid feeding anything with beef because of some recalls about beef with hormones and dogs getting or even dying from it. As for holistic I just mean grain free crap. Dogs don't need grains or corn as the first ingredients in their foods.

Also non holistics have had their share of problems like that lawsuit against beneful for having non plant based glycol in their foods- you know the same garbage found in stuff like antifreeze? So I refuse to touch purina.
Any alternatives to purina prescription foods?
