I'm a huge fan of leaving things au natural. I don't believe most Yorkies are working animals anymore, but pets, so tail docking really seems useless and outdated. I love a full tail!
But, I also hesitate to insist on banning things in regards to our dogs as I feel it is a fine line of what some people find acceptable and what others don't. |
The article talks about how injures are not that common with tails. I am not sure but I think dew claws might be a higher instances of injury. One issue with the fact the breeders sometimes do this on their own is lots of crappy breeders mess up too. I think one fun thing about Jackson and Joey are their tails.
