Default Yorkie passed away

Hi,

I guess my reason for posting on here has to do with looking for answers and seeing if any of you have experienced the same thing that I did. My little one and half year old yorkie Louis passed away Wednesday morning. I am completely heartbroken with his passing. 12 days before he passed I started noticing little things. The first thing I noticed was he was shaking, he was a complete inside dog and my room was never cold so I thought it was odd he was shaking. He weighed 7 pounds and was a little chunkster. So I put on him one of his doggy shirts thinking that maybe he was just cold. I also thought maybe he was hypoglycemic he has never shaken before and never had a bout of hypoglycemia but I gave him some honey thinking that was the issue. The next day the next think I noticed he was breathing really hard and very rapidly. It was a Saturday and the vets were not open but he seemed fine. He wanted me to hand feed him which was unusual and was disinterested in water. However, he was his normal playful self. At that moment, he had the shaking, the rapid breathing, the not interested in food or water but wanted to play. Sunday was much of the same. Monday I called the vet and she knew how Louis had severe separation anxiety he would bang himself on the doors just to get to where I was, he would bark and bang his body at anything that was in the way. I had found a little lump on his shoulder blade and he had one previously that was caused by the rabies vaccination and it was nothing. Things got progressively worse, his breathing got worse but he started eating boiled chicken and would drink alot of water. This Tuesday was the worst he had ever been, he didn't want to walk, he had a neck tilt, he drank a ton of water, he would strain to pee and couldn't lift his leg to pee. I think I forgot to mention that he was constipated and when I mentioned that to the vet she had told me that it sounded like he was constipated and it was causing him to not be hungry and his breathing could have been from pain and she told me to monitor him. Tuesday night he went downhill, I didnt think he was going to die. I had checked his temperature and it was 97.6 and I am guessing his body was in shock. I had asked my mom to watch him for a little bit and he was in his little crate on her bed and she said she turned out her light, he barked and then he took a gulp of air and fell and when she turned on her light he was dead. I have no idea why he died, or what happened. I thought he was just constipated like the vet said. He was otherwise healthy, had all his vaccines, loved to play, loved to eat, loved to be near me and follow me everywhere. In a matter of three days he went from being chunky to being skin and bones. My heart hurts so bad.
