Ok, we had to put Porsche to sleep 5 weeks ago. She was over 14, and we found out she had kidney failure. She had already stopped eating and drinking. We also lost Bentley about 7 months previously due to the same diagnosis. So, anyway, we are totally without any furbabies in our house after 14+ years with my babies. How soon do you think is too soon to bring in new babies to the house? Oh yeah, I also recently retired and am searching for a new spark in my life. I am having difficulty adjusting to this new life. Am I crazy to want a dog so soon to fill the hole in my heart?
