I have been away from the forum for a while, life gets in the way!
Remy is now nine, and turning 10 this August
His most recent bloodwork indicated low thyroid levels. This happened once before, a few years ago with the interim year showing normal thyroid.
Our vet is recommending thyroid medication. Twice daily for six months and then more bloodwork.
I am not sure I am on board. He exhibits NO symptoms of hypothyroisim. His is not lethargic. His skin and coat look great. No random weight gain.
Does anyone have experience with this condition? Any experience with a yorkie on thyroid meds? I would welcome the input
