Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I am sure the pups don't just absolutely enjoy having it done either, but at least there are "proper" ways of doing it so that the discomfort is minimal. Our vet was much obliged to rub on some numbing medicine before hand. Our pups didn't so much as flinch when they had it done and only slightly objected to having their dew claws removed. I guess no one will ever know what exactly it feels like to the pup...unless they believe they have been reincarnated.
