Then just 5 minutes ago I walked out front and there was the partial remains of some larger bird. Perhaps a vulture itself because there was a mouse from the bird's? insides.
The point of this is the body was just outside the covering of a very large shade tree. So I am going to be extra vigilant. The neighbors here all say a vulture couldn't pick up an 8 lb dog nor would they want it if it was alive but I don't know what else could have killed the bird. Very disconcerting. | Follow your instincts, don't take chances, stay vigilant. I wouldn't put much credence in what neighbors' say--they may be right, but...???
