According to the AKC website, Biewers are recognized as "
Foundation Stock Service." This means that they may be so recorded, "to allow these purebred breeds to continue to develop while providing them with the security of a reliable and reputable avenue to maintain their records. FSSŪ breeds are not eligible for AKC registration."
The AKC Marketplace has listings for Biewers. See "
Find a Puppy: Biewer Terrier."
