 Gidget is hiding from me
Right now, Gidget is hiding under the bed. She hates to be messed with for any grooming, etc. That's why I take her to the groomer when something needs to be done. I take her every 3 months for complete groming session but as needed for her nails to be cut and to cut out the goobers from drainage from her eyes. Last night, I decided to try to get rid of them myself. Got the Vaseline out and rubbed it on either side of her nose and she fought me the whole time. When I picked up the Vaseline to put it in the closet, she saw me pick it up and ran under the bed. This morning, I got a warm soft washcloth to remove them. Well, the fought me the whole time but finally did get some removed. When she got down from my lap, she immediately ran under the bed. Around lunch time, we left to pick up some dry cleaning and then to Food Lion to pick up some ingredients for party mix. She was just fine. When we got home, walked in the front door, she immediately headed for under the bed. When she comes out at her choosing, the will not get even close to me. I picked her up and she squirmed so much I had to let her down and she immediately got as far from me as she could get. What should I do? Any help will be greatly appreciated! |
