Cody is a rescue from my vets rescue team, he spent 3 days in a crate before I got him, then he was very sick, needed major surgery, spent several days crated at the vet. He remembers and scared that's he going to be left there. I don't make a big fuss and coddle him, that encourages them, so I just him perch like a bird. Totally embarrassing, my girls were scared and shaked but would stay on my lap. Cody is a very big drama queen lol.
