This doesn't make any medical sense to me.
There is no surgeon, or vet, or any medical person that I know of who would make a definitive medical decision *over the phone* about a 'spine surgery' and say something like "don't go thru with the surgery". Weight is always relative to the being -- so it actually does *not* determine outcomes. Weight
does mean other things however (from a medical perspective) -- though I hesitate to name them now.
There is nothing wrong w/ the holistic approach if it's the best answer and IF it's working - there are some modalities (esp for some spine issues) that can do wonders.
