Since moving to Wisconsin, I have seen how true-to-her-breed Piper really is...Relentless, determined, laser-focused with her attempts to get little gopher that lives under her deck. How she can hear and smell that tiny thing underneath boards, concrete and walking on mud is beyond me, but Piper will terrier-trot all around deck then jump (well, heck--it's gotta be a good ten inches high) up on it, stop and raise one paw and cock her little head until she locks in and bam, she's digging and biting at the wood---then she'll repeat entire cycle--several times!! So anyway, Charlie is still the most wondrous and darling little guy and all is well with everyone, yes?! Pictures of that perfect lil' pooch are always welcomed and enjoyed!!! |
Thanks
Jkpal for sharing that story. Got me and the wife smiling - our little "
hunters" sure can lock in on a target (
or screaming). Lately, Charlie with walk up to me, start stomping his feet with his tail wagging daring me to chase him! I chase him up the hallway and as I turn around to come back to the room - he shoots by me, up on the couch and starts again stomping is feet daring me to grab him. We do it three times - after three times - he sits their with his tail wagging and lays down next to the wife. Dang we love these pups!
