We all have bad days, but it's just like with kids you can't take it out on your puppy. My niece is 11 and she would kill me if she knew I was saying this but she at times still pees the bed!!!! We don't spank her or rub her nose in it we clean the bed and the sheets and move on. Please don't make him scared of you. Listen if the worst thing in your life is a 5 month old puppy that pees on the carpet then you are doing okay. Maybe that's his way of saying hi to you
Our babies need us to be nice and give them lovies. He will learn where to go potty soon enough.
