Please keep in mind that the corneal ulcers could VERY well also have been caused by your dog being left way too long in a "dryer box" (or, repeatedly), which is *extremely* drying to they eyes (not to mention traumatic, in my opinion).

What you heard from your groomer does NOT sound normal to me *at all* - and personally, I would not be bringing my dogs there again (I don't bring my dogs to groomers ever, actually). I've been grooming my dogs for 13 years+ and have never caused corneal ulcers ever.

This does not sound right to me at all.
