These changes are absolutely normal, and part of natural growth and development in Yorkies. Our Bella went from a thick, dark, cottony puppy coat to a beautiful silvery coat in 4 months. At the following link (bottom of the page), you can see photos of her before and after her first grooming at 4 months. The pictures were both taken the same day.
