Slightly different topic. Human vaccines: I just got the new Shingrix shingles vaccine today. I was the first person vaccinated at our CVS location, so I was kind of an experimental animal for them. No pain or other side effects so far. It's a lot more effective than the old Zostavax shingles vaccine, and you can get it if you're over 50, as opposed to over 60 for the Zostavax. I'm not making a recommendation one way or the other, but if you're concerned about shingles, this might be something to consider. | I got a shingles shot several years back (geez, Susie sells seashells by the...!), so should I go in and get this Shingrix? You're so knowledgeable in so many areas and it's great that you take time to share info w/everyone! |
