Default Inflammatory Bowel Disease advice?

Hi,
My dog and I have really been through hell for the last 4 months. She was in and out of the vets every week, had multiple blood test and many days on a drip. Finally, last week she was referred to a specialist in my country who diagnosed her with inflammatory bowel disease (also, she has pancreatitis).

In a way it was good news because now we have an answer. But I'm still incredibly worried about her. She is a "fussy" eater (I hate that term) who only eats what she wants to eat. She lost 20% of her body weight over the last few months due to this illness. She has been put on a low fat, hypoallergenic diet which will help her tummy but won't help her put on weight I bought her kangaroo, ostrich and wild boar meat....so far she's not a fan of kangaroo meat.

I guess I'm hoping to hear from others in this situation. How is your dog being treated? How long did it take to see some recovery?

Thank you
