Most people do not know how to give fluids and most even if they did wouldn’t be comfortable doing. Most also require nausea meds and antidiarrheal medicine. Depending on how bad the bleeding in the stool is some might need hemoglobin. Small dogs are nothing to play with and the majority of them should be hospitalized except in rare occasions.
