I don't understand why my Yorkie likes rugs...She goes on any rug I put down and I like to use them to help keep the floors more clean in winter and spring and fall and who doesn't want a rug in front of the tub and shower so you don't slip and fall :'( I am kind of at my wits end. I took them up for a long time and we thought we had her trained really well to go OUT. But when I try to put the rugs back down she pees on them again. It makes it hard to even put my cat bowls out as I usually put them on a rug like that too, so it was easy to pick up and clean by washing it. Suggestions appreciated. I hate the thought that I can never put down rugs again...My only thought at the moment is a couple baby gates to keep her only in the room with us. Not a great thought because then I restrict my poor cats to the rooms in our house that are colder(unless they jump the gates and when we leave the house we leave her in those rooms and we will have to pick up every rug that is down then... but might have to.I also hate to throw away all the rugs she's already gone on I wash them in baking soda trying to get them not to smell anymore... If any of you have had this problem and gotten it solved in some way, Please let me know. Thank you
