I would keep an eye on this - as it could mean GERD / reflux, or a dental problem developing. Keep an eye also on whether you ever notice any "hard" swallowing or anything odd there, or any air-licking, or coughing...stuff like that. Most likely it's nothing - as like others have said, yorkies are indeed very licky/kissy doggies...but do know that excessive licking can mean stuff too
