When he is doing it, touch his sides to see if he is bringing air in and out. I tried to see in the video but couldn't because he has long hair. When they are reverse sneezing, air is coming in through the nose. In collapsed trachea they have trouble getting air in or out depending on where the collapse is.

I don't know that any meds will really prevent it. If it is a reverse sneeze it is really not a problem. You can gently rub the front of his neck when he does it...or put your finger across his nose and he might stop.
