Thank you for asking. Unfortunately Karlee had to have emergency surgery just 4 days after being diagnosed. One large stone obstructed her urine flow and nearly ruptured her bladder. The bladder was in such bad shape, and there were so many stones, it was a 2.5 hr surgery, followed by 3 day hospital stay.
Scary time for us. But she recovered, and is fine now. She will be on Royal Canin Urinary SO diet for life, and have periodic checkups so hopefully she will not get the struvite stones again.
