 Pee Pad Training
Hello, I'm new to the forum so I apologize if this question is redundant. I was reading other posts on Pee Pad training and couldn't find the resolution i need for my Yorkie.
I've adopted my Yorkie about a year ago, (He's 2 years old and very Shy). With my Yorkie being shy around everything, hates the cold (We Live in Canada it's already 0 degrees and about to snow here),I decided to take up Pee Pad training. I still take my Yorkie on two walks a day and try to take him to the backyard if i notice he needs to Pee.
I placed a Pee Pad in our back mud room and purchased a Dog Pee Grass Pad. My yorkie probably uses the Pee Pad about 80% of the time. But how do I encourage my Yorkie to only use the Pee Pad? Is there any secret treatments? encouragements? My yorkie doesn't seem to be using the Pee Grass Pad. I just really want to keep my bedroom doors open all day long, but if i do It'll find pee in one of them. |
