I live in an urban setting and I just stopped walking my dog on the side walk, bunch of irresponsible dog owners walking their dogs and not collecting their poop, other with huge menacing dogs (they dont mind my yorkie but you know how the other way around works), broken glass, trash, nuts and bolts, etc.

I have the same problem with my Otto, even in the clean area we walk now, whenever I see him in a suspicious mode I need to pull and check what is it that he is chewing on!
