My vet told me to watch out with pure pumpkin, for it can also cause the opposite effect and make diarrhea worse.

My JB had a bad experience at the Vet last Wednesday..tons of other dogs running around the office plus he was taken away from me for a chest x-ray. As soon as we left the office he had diarrhea. I mean right afterwards out front of his office in the "potty" area. I waited to see if he would get better and I called the vet Saturday. Started him on boiled chicken and white rice. It has been about 2 1/2 days on the diet and no luck so the vet told me to add 1/2 tsp of Imodium twice a day to see if that helps. I started that this afternoon. If his stool is not better by Wednesday night they need a stool sample.

I have been lucky because he is not going 2-3 times an hour, He has been going on his regular schedule but when he does, it is diarrhea. He is happy as ever and drinking and eating fine. Good luck with your furbaby!
