Thank you, everyone, for replying, and thank you MysticVance for the prayers! He is three, I believe the medication she prescribed was rimadyl. He started walking more Friday night, even "danced" for his dental treats, and has been a little more active since (asking to go outside and wanting to play) but he limped slightly today. He lies down normally, not like anything in particular hurts. He is still eating and drinking normally but no, the vet did not run any blood tests.
