Just read your post and so sorry to hear your fur baby is not feeling well. I wanted to share my experiences with this issue. Both my yorkies are prone to pancreatitis and dealing with diarrhea and/or vomiting has been ongoing for us. First, get Pedialyte original flavor (not flavored and not generic as these tend to have other additives that will defeat your purpose), I use a shot glass and fill one shot of Pedialyte to 5 shots of fresh water. This replenishs the electrolytes that depletes from the diarrhea. I personally use this everyday, changing their water bowl several times daily. What I find works is bland, bland and more bland for food. The trick is just a bite or so, and see if the stomach is settled, then give another bite, introduce food back slowly. As others have mentioned, 100% Libby's Pure Pumpkin (not the pumpkin pie mix) Eggs are good, boiled or scrambled, cottage cheese, yogurt, plain pasta or plain white rice, mixed in with boiled chicken. Mash in some ripe banana as well. We also keep a bottle of Flagyl in the fridge at all times just in case, you can get from your vet. This regimen has saved us countless trips back to the vet and many sleepless nights. Hope your little one is feeling better soon! (Also keep NutiCal on hand in the event no food is tolerated, at least this will provide some necessary nutrition.) just my two cents
