 Cleaning the eyes
We use Earth Bath Eye Wipes and a flea comb that fits in the palm of the hand. First, soften up the gunk gently with the wipes. Any stuck pieces work out gently with your fingers if needed. When the area is mostly clean carefully use the flea comb to comb from the corner of the eye out to the ends of the hair. This gets out residue that the wipes and fingers miss and smooths the hair.
A lot of people use plain water and a paper towel. If the area remains moist it can grow yeast, I was told. The wipes avoid that. |
