We have had a very fun, interesting experience. We have had an extended working stay at an RV resort with 50% residents and 50% guests, many of whom are regulars. The owners have several wonderful dogs - 3 mini doxies and 1 fat something or another. All of the dogs, including the other dogs who live here have free run of the resort. No fences. No leashes. The result is NO territorial behavior whatsoever. I have never seen so many happy, carefree, healthy dogs share a place - ever. Our little twerp of a yorkie, who owns us and everything she touches, did not know what to make of this. She was surprised each time a happy tail-wagger just strutted by and didn't even give her a look! After a while, she has adjusted and now, although we keep her on leash, she struts around the grounds with not a care if another dog shares the grounds. It's really been a fun, learning experience.
