This is the first yorkie we have had, now 2.5 years old. We were very careful to pick a good breeder, see the family line, etc. We love our pup and we are not breed snobs BUT....
Lately everywhere we go we are approached by people who love their great little dogs and start a conversation, "I have a yorkie...........well, actually it's a yorkie and some Papillion.................or it's a yorkie and Chihuahua.........or it's a yorkie and we're not sure what............ I am certainly not one to diss other people's loves but I wish the conversation went more like this......."I have a mixed breed dog that's yorkie and..... I have begun to be a little protective of the breed! Anyone have thoughts about this?
