Help!!!! My little Bo is a Great soul. He is the calmest Yorkie you'll ever meet.
BUT nail-clipping time comes along, and he absolutely FREAKS OUT!
He will not allow me or anyone else cut his nails. Something deep-seated in his puppy past makes him dread getting his nails cut. Maybe they clipped into a cuticle 2 or 3 times during one nail clipping session- if you see how he acts you would conclude likewise. I cannot wrap him in a towel, give him treats, etc. and I won't allow the vet to do it since Bo will feel the same way. It is PURE TORTURE for him. I am thinking getting a sedative from the vet, but I am very afraid of it since I've read horror stories on YT about it. But short of general anesthesia by the vet, I don't know what will work. HELP!!
