My 4 moth old yorkie is super withdrawn help! My 4 moth old yorkie named Kupcake , whom I have only had her two days. Is extremely shy. she doesn't take to anyone. I try to hold her to make her feel secure and talk softly to her and it doesn't work, she stays in her bed and wont come out. If I wanted to spend time with her she will let me pick her up but she hide her head under my arms. she will not look at me or eat from my hands, she's completely withdrawn. She does not bark or play or run. Her health is fine and she been dewormed and has had her first shots. Her eating is good, but she will only eat and drink when no one is around to see. I don't know what to do to make her feel secure, She was the last puppy from the breeder so she was very attached to her mom. I guess no one wanted her because of her disposition. I love you any way. I just need to know if she will come around and what should I do? My plan is to make her a therapy dog so how can I do that if she is so antisocial ? will this change as she gets older?
