Our pup was allergic to her microID chip so we had to have it removed. So, we were VERY worried about identification since she doesn't wear her harness all the time. We found embroidered collars and purchased one like this:

It has her name and my cellphone number on it. We love it! And so we didn't lose the information contained in her chip we ordered a single tag for her collar from Pet Link so her microID chip info could be accessed if she was lost even without the chip.

With all the irritation to her skin from the chip allergy she really objected to collars but with it out she is fine with this one. And she doesn't mind this tag since it's small and doesn't make any noise.
There is no leash loop on it, which we are glad for since we never want a leash on her attached to her collar - only a harness.
Now, clothes - she loves her jammies. And any dress with a ruffle is a hit. But no hats, headbands, shoes, socks. She will get them off before we can blink. We don't use velcro fasteners since her hair can get caught in them. So just easy slip over the head cotton blend styles. She has a parka with built in harness for cold weather and a variety of sweaters. She's not a fan of full turtlenecks but is fine with a mock.
